Introduction The General English Programme is a multi-purpose programme for students, professionals, and tourists who wish to improve their all-round English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Structure The programme is divided into 10 levels, Each level is of 6 weeks’ duration comprising of a minimum of 90 hours. Participants can choose Intensive ( 24 hrs per week), Standard (20 hrs per week) or Economy (15 hours per week) formats. Methodology Teachers use the communicative method underpinned by clear learning outcomes within the four skills of Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. While the classroom is friendly and informal, the Chapterhouse Ethos values success through motivation, goal setting, and achievement ( i.e .hard work!) Focusing on learning strategies is a key element of the programme. (Learning to Learn Module). Terms: Chapterhouse

- Services must be paid in full 10 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- Where a cancellation is received 1 days after enrolment there will be no refund whatsoever.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Enrolment fees are non-refundable.
- The registration fee are non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee are non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund Policy

- A cancellation fee of € 50 applies when a course is cancelled less than 1 week/s before the course commencement date.

Visa Refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 300 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.
